GENERAL CMO POST 3.0
Voice Testing

You guys know the drill! Call out a character, I'll bring 'em out. Few notes before we begin:
♥ I'm down for pretty much anything! If you aren't certain about something, feel free to ask and we can plot it out. AUs, post-game scenarios, murdergame scenarios, other shit (and non-canon stuff I suppose re: Trustfells), bring it. Only thing that's a no on this post is Smut. PP me so I can set up another thread if you wanna do that.
♥ I'm picky when it comes to any shippy stuff, so ask before you leap.
♥ For most characters, the earlier the canonpoint, the better. Exceptions to this are Hecatia (I can swing any point for her) and Brit (post-movie is vastly preferred).
♥ RE: Echoes characters--I've only played up to Act 3, and though I have spoilers for what goes down later, I'd prefer to stick around there. Exceptions can be asked for tho.
♥ This is mostly a callout post for voicetesting purposes! I won't turn down a thread if you wanna call out a character on my my muselist, but that's mostly what I'm looking for.
♥ I have post Trustfelled/Trust Fall or Die Hard callout posts for Sayaka and Lusamine; their posts are here for Sayaka, and here for Lusamine. (I'll...have one up eventually for Felicia, I'm kind of burnt out on her rn.)

Calling out Berkut
Just try not to kill each other, you two... Or make a wreck out of the house.
Due to all this thought congestion, he's spaced out even more than usual, and he doesn't see the person charging right for him.
With an oof, Ryo crashes to the ground with the person landing on top of him. And he gives a confused blink as he looks up at her. All he can think is that she has such vivid eyes before she scrambles off of him and books it down the street.
Ryo sits up, turning his head to follow her and she disappears around the corner.
What was that all abou--
But before his train of thought can continue, he hears a blood curdling scream coming from the direction the girl originally ran from.
"Help! There's been a murder!" the petrified woman shrieks. And the pieces fall into place. That running girl is definitely a suspect. Ryo gets off the ground and runs the direction he saw her go. Maybe it's not too late to catch up with her.
But as he rounds the same corner, he crashes into someone else with a solid oof, and he falls right back on the ground. Geez, it is just not his lucky day, is it?
"Sorry," he utters, rubbing his head as he looks up at who he crashed into, temporarily forgetting why he was running in the first place.

Of course, wrong turns can be taken anywhere, and that's where Berkut finds himself today. Where exactly was he now? He hadn't the faintest of ideas. When he hears the shout behind him, he has no sense of remorse in walking away. What does he care about any of this? Men and women alike die all the time on the battlefield; it's no different in such a case.
Of course, when Ryo unceremoniously crashes into him and on the ground, Berkut has to steady himself so he doesn't suffer the same fate. And once he sees who caused him such a problem? Oh, his expression is practically dripping with venom.
"Sorry? Is that all you have to say for yourself, worm?"
Yeah, he's. Not very pleased, from the sound of it. He's practically glaring daggers into poor Ryo's head as well, as he awaits a response.
no subject
"Yes?" Is there something else he should be saying?
He gets up and dusts himself off momentarily. The worm comment seems to brush past him almost entirely. He's not pleased about it, but oh, well. He's had worse. And seems perfectly incapable of noticing the death glare from the other man. And he glances around for a moment.
Oh, wait! That's right, he was chasing someone just now!
"Did you see a girl run by here? She had really vivid eyes; I have to bring her in for questioning immediately." His dazed expression suddenly becomes very serious and he quickly digs in his pocket to pull out his badge. He carries that with him, even when he's off duty, although his gun is at home right now.
Please say you've seen her, this is very important.

Berkut doesn't take disrespect well, if the way he walks forward is any indication--if Ryo isn't careful, he'll find a hand grabbing him by the collar and yanking him in close. Whether he manages to connect or not, however, he speaks up.
"Your trivial drivel holds no meaning to me. You would do well to begin groveling at my feet, before I drive my lance through your skull."
...He doesn't know that he's without a weapon at the moment--
"If you are truly so naive to whom you've disrespected, allow me to lay it bare for you right now--you have disrespected the future emperor of Rigel, you lowly, sniveling peasant!"
And that's when he begins to laugh. It's. Not very nice? And he does not seem to be focused on anything due to this potential case, just making sure he can get some proper respect.
"Have you anything to say for yourself now, or shall I finish this conversation with prejudice?"
Because a prick like him totally deserves respect. Mmmhmm. Sure, let's go with that. Or perhaps not.
no subject
Oh, boy, just where did this nut come from? What do they call these sorts of people? Cosplayers? Yea, that's it, right?
Sigh. Ryo just somehow attracts all the weirdos, doesn't he?
"Sir, I need you to cooperate. A very serious crime has been committed and I need to catch the suspect. If you keep obstructing my mission, I'll have to take you down to the precinct." He seems calm and collected for the moment, but don't think for a second he didn't hear that threat involving a lance, Berkut.
Slowly, one of Ryo's hands slides toward his pocket, reaching for his phone. If he hits the right number, he should speeddial Dee and allow him to listen in on the conversation. This would be the best way to get backup without alerting his aggressor.
He hopes.
"I'm with the NYPD and you're obstructing an investigation involving the Police. I'm going to politely ask you to let go."
no subject
That much is said with a sneer, utter hatred seeping through his expression. Truth be told, he didn't; whatever happened to bring him here, he had no collection of the crime itself, simply the shout. Yet the man in front of him claims himself something--what the hell was an NYPD? That was no army he had ever heard of.
Still, Berkut does let Ryo go--with a shove and release of his grip, while he makes a grab for...
...well, if his expression is any indication, he's just straight up grabbing at air, and that is disconcerting.
"What?!"
Berkut looks next to him, and then behind him--he hadn't given much look at his surroundings beforehand, but he's suddenly coming to a realization that something is wrong. He's nowhere he recognizes--it wouldn't be a problem if he could make out a castle in the distance, but--
"You! What do you know of this place?! Where have you taken me?!"
...He's still not exactly rational here, and he starts walking forward again.
no subject
"Listen, there's been a murder. And the killer is still on the loose."
Why is this dude grabbing at the air? Ryo so doesn't get this. And people say he's out of touch with reality.
"It's... New York, last I checked." Amnesia, maybe? Somehow Ryo doesn't think that's it. Geez.
The longer he has to explain things to this guy, the longer the suspect has to get away. Just what is he supposed to do? If this is the way Berkut treats everyone, he's... kind of a threat. Or at least someone who needs psychological help. Probably.
......
Ryo keeps an eye on Berkut as he moves again, in case he needs to go on the defensive. Then an idea strikes him. He speaks clearly and distinctly, following.
"Listen, I need you to focus. I'm looking for a girl, long blonde hair with vivid green eyes. She ran this way, headed North on Bowery Street. Did you see them?"
You got that, Dee? Go find them. Now, how to get this guy off the streets so he doesn't hurt anyone in a fit. He tries to edge carefully around the issue.
"Listen, if you're lost, why don't you come with me? We can help you get back on your way at the Police Station."
AU R5 W/ BERKUT AKA A DISASTER IN THE MAKING
Hm, if it isn't the young prince. Are you getting acclimate to the newest addition of our prison as well?
OH BOY!!
The utterance gets a bit of a grimace from Berkut. He'd been hoping none of these rustics would be in there, but it was still too crowded a space--he'd be bumping into them still.]
It doesn't seem as though we will be escaping from this farce anytime soon.
[It's...not quite an answer, but it lacks the sheer amount of arrogance he took on the first week. He seems frustrated with something, but he walks around Nyx to get a look at some blue fabric.]
So perhaps I am. And what of it?
no subject
You don't particularly strike me as the inquisitive type—but I will admit that appearances can be deceiving. [ Get it cause people say she's a child when she isn't ]
no subject
[Ugh, don't remind him of that shitshow. Berkut rolls his eyes, but plucks out a shade of blue that, weirdly enough, doesn't match his cape. He does seem to relax a bit when he looks at it, though, before perking at the next bit.]
Just as deceiving you claim yours is..? [...then again, despite the shitshow, she was a certain level of help. Berkut shakes his head.] If I plan to survive in this wretched place, a spot of common sense seems prudent.
[He doesn't specify what it's for, of course. It's none of a rustic's business.]
no subject
A "spot of common sense". Ha, if only all royals had that; although, perhaps a lack of it is part of that princess' charm. ]
Hm, so you intend to live. [ Ah, youth, still not dead inside and waiting for the release of death. ] Is your aim to enact Rule 7? [ She doesn't actually expect an answer, but rather more interested in how he'd react. ]
no subject
...And so what if it is? I've made no secret of the fact I despise you lot. That wasn't exactly helped by the accusations unduly hurled around at the trial.
[If there's one thing he can take a small bit of pleasure in, it's the fact that they were wrong in the worst of ways, and had to kill someone they didn't want to. They could justify it as much as they wanted, but the end result was the same.]
My desires are more important than any of your lives. [He states that much honestly, and with one hell of a smirk.] But perhaps I should survive, simply to spite you all!
no subject
[ Although, she has a slight inkling that "cooperating with the common people" isn't an concept that exist for him. There's no doubt in her mind that he'll be a hindrance in future trials as well. ]
To believe your desires are important that the lives of others... you truly are a child.
no subject
[Too bad, so sad for them! If it were his choice, he'd lop all of their heads off and throw them to the dogs.]
Oh, don't give me that. You state that as if you've no desires of your own. You would kill everyone in this facility given the proper chance, would you not?
no subject
My sole desire is to live a life of solitude. That is... the only life fitting for one such as myself. [ It's not a lie per se, but it's not the entire truth either. And she's not going to open herself to mockery by stating her true desires; she's well aware of how trite and unattainable they are. ]
no subject
[Berkut shakes his head. Well, at least she's realistic? She doesn't have any delusions of grandeur in her mind, of becoming royalty or something magnificent.]
Even for a commoner, you do not seem to have a high opinion of yourself. Are you that ready to perish?
no subject
No, I have zero intentions on dying just yet, and certainly not in this place—there is still a duty I must fulfil.
