[It looked like a pretty typical day in Armoroad; the hustle and bustle of the city and various explorers, talking, living, and doing what they needed to do for the day. All in all, this should've been a normal day.
However, there had been rumors; the weird anomaly that had taken place over the Waterfall Wood, and the rumors that such a thing had brought something with it. Most of the novice explorers were getting beaten around left and right by Lynxes; any others had their own problems to deal with, or didn't necessarily want to find out if it brought a friend or foe along with it.
However, the Guildmaster had put a notice up at the bar to look for it, and Kaya obliged. Sure, she was a solo explorer, but she had enough confidence that she could take on most threats that came her way. The ones she couldn't, she could tactically run away from, in her eyes. Plus, it'd be a nice chance to prove herself to those around her...she could barely contain her excitement before she set out.
All things considering, she had little time to waste; assuming this something was still alive at this point, they'd have likely met with at least one or two of the monsters that lurked around there. Maybe even a FOE. It'd been several hours since the anomaly happened, and the chances of a defenseless person wandering around still breathing were slim at best.
Kaya quickly set off; she simply hoped she wasn't too late.]
